Julie provided not only the knowledge and support, but the enthusiasm and passion that we needed to do the work ahead of us. When we contacted her, we were in a difficult situation. Without her, I'm sure we would have closed our doors. Now, we're not only fully-funded for the coming year, but we have new Board members and new staff, and we're heading into our next ten years with the kind of passion that I was afraid we'd never see again. I thank God for her, and her partnership with us.
-Becca Syme (President - The Rock Youth Center in Bozeman, MT)
"As a new Executive Director at a growing organization, Julie expertly guided myself, our board and staff through challenging and intimidating circumstances, helping to lead important conversations with a commitment to our mission that equals our own".
Cass Staton, (former) Executive Director, CASA of Yellowstone County.
In May, 2013, life changed dramatically for homeless youth living on the streets of Billings, Montana, when Tumbleweed Runaway Program was awarded a $900,000 grant from the Administration for Children and Families. This grant was was one of only four awarded that year, and was composed by Rodda Consulting.
In 2015, Tumbleweed again received recognition as a tremendous community and regional asset when they were chosen as one of only three applicants nationwide to receive a $600,000 grant for combating Human Trafficking.
'Julie Rodda's critical thinking and writing skills helped us secure these awards, and better serve the many homeless and at-risk youth in our community'. I do not think we would have received these awards without her help. She understood exactly what was needed and how to portray our program".
Sheri Boelter, (former Executive Director) Tumbleweed Runaway Program.
How much does strategic planning cost?
Having a plan for growth and engagement is one of the most important things your nonprofit can develop when it comes to securing a healthy and sustainable future! We can lead discussions that will identify clear direction and opportunities for your board and staff. Costs vary, but generally run between $750 and $1,500 depending on the scope of work.
Are You Able to Train our Board Members?
